I think I started one of these a long time ago but am not going to take the time to go look for it. This list will be updated as I go and are in no particular order:
1. Travel to Scotland, Ireland and England.
2. Then go to France, Spain, Italy and Greece.
3. Publish a novel (two currently working in my head).
4. Earn my MFA in creative writing.
5. Earn a living as a writer.
6. Organize my office.
7. Organize my stash.
8. Organize my sewing.
9. Live in New York City for at least a year, hopefully more.
10. Learn to be a better cook.
11. Fall in love. Done! 2009
12. Have children.
13. Be able to stay at home with said children.
14. Knit a blanket for myself.
15. Garner a tight knit group of girlfriends (one by one).
16. Work from home.
17. Live in a loft.
18. Live in the country with a sheep/alpaca farm.
19. Learn how to card and spin the fiber from animals in #18.
20. Make something fabulous from the yarn spun in #19.
21. Learn sign language.
22. Translate for my aunt at family gatherings.
23. Learn Spanish.
24. Learn Japanese.
25. Travel to Toronto.
26. Live in Toronto.
27. Figure out what it means to be “ok” with myself.
28. See a therapist for longer than a month.
29. Get my passport (kinda necessary for #1,2,25 & 26). Done! 2009
30. Meet Oprah Winfrey. I’m over her.
31. Have a conversation with her. See #30
32. Start a knitting group in town.
33. Start a knitting group for kids.
34. Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.
35. Volunteer for the Red Cross.
36. Run a 5K.
37. Run a 10K.
38. Run a half-marathon.
39. Run a marathon.
40. Run a marathon again and beat my time in #39.
41. Live near the ocean again.
42. Be an old woman walking hand in hand with my love on the beach.
43. Know what it is to have grandchildren.
44. Write a letter to my biological father.
45. Burn the letter.
46. Forgive my ex-husband for being himself. Done! 2009
47. Forgive my father for being himself.
48. Never have another ex-husband.
49. Continue to be grateful for not having had children with the ex-husband.
50. Become a Master Knitter.
51. Teach a knitting class.
52. Teach a writing class.
53. Learn to be a better pot thrower.
54. Do everything I can to keep my g-ma young and vibrant.
55. Age with dignity.
56. Stop biting my hangnails.
57. Date a fireman, at least once (a girl’s gotta dream, right?). So overrated, btw.
58. Publish my short story.
59. Turn said short story into novel and publish that.
60. Run my own business of some sort (dog bakery, paper store, boutiquey boutique, event planning).
61. Live in New York City for at least two years at some point (I (heart) NY) (ha! I love NYC so much I wrote this one twice).
62. Have my picture taken with at least one famous A-list celebrity (no other kind will do). Why?
63. Know what it’s like to be deeply loved by a man . Currently happening and it’s bliss. 2009
64. Go surfing in Costa Rica (even tho we all know about my failing attempts at surfing).
65. Travel to Australia.
66. Go on a missionary excursion for no other reason than to be selfless.
67. Buy a home (not in a scary part of town either).
68. Rent out said home.
69. Make passive income on said home.
70. Repeat #67-69 multiple times.
71. Retire young (again, a girl can dream right?).
72. Settle down in a town other than where I am right now. A place with better air quality.
73. Publish at least one piece of my own photography (blog does not count a publishing vehicle).
74. Take dance lessons with my partner.

This is a late comment but I came across this when I’m making my own list. I was looking for ideas. Thanks for sharing your list! Seems like we have the same Oprah Winfrey goals, except that mine is coupled with Nelson Mandela. Haha.
