Okay. So the other day I came across It’s A Purl Man podcast and subscribed. I had a long drive ahead of me to visit with family so I listened to most of the back podcasts of the show. About 7 hours worth. And then I emailed Guido about doing so.
He thinks I’m nuts.
Just listen to Episode 18.
And I probably am crazy. But let’s look at it a different way…. I could’ve not liked the show. I could have given up after the first podcast recorded in his bathroom. But no. I liked the content and the style of the show and even some of the music (even though I fast forward through most of it.) The “man on the street” kind of interviews are fun because I don’t live in a big city with events like Boston. I’m into the historical nature of wool and fiber and some of his other interviews are about those topics.
So there. Yes, 7 straight hours of listening to one podcast is a little crazy. But driving 7 hours in one day to visit with family for 5 hours may be crazier.
Yeah, I did that when I first discovered Cast On. And those are some looooong episodes
