So here’s how J and I spent the day after my birthday:

Velvet was not amused by the Hair of the Dog nor Samuel Adams…
The girls, however, had a blast at the party…

Whoops! I meant these girls…

See? We had fun.
Charlie really didn’t give a rip about the Hair of the Dog…

He loves his Auntie Jenn. She shared her lap the ENTIRE trip, which is more than I can say for myself and I live with Charlie. But Charlie tends to burrow under my elbow while I’m knitting and it’s annoying.
This, however, is not annoying…

…and is pretty freakin’ cute.
I tried to get my pups to be cute for the camera this past weekend…

But Jessie is shy. She just would not face the camera. Jessie, the camera really doesn’t add 10 pounds…

She still wouldn’t believe me, only giving her right side to the camera.

In the end, all she wanted was her momma. Oh and Sam, just as long as he could lay down, he didn’t care what happened.
Oh! I almost forgot…

Matching Margarita socks. Mine on the left in the ubiquitous Monkey pattern. J’s on the right in a lovely swirled pattern. J wins - she finished her socks on time. I won’t appeal the winning even though I had to choose to complete my homework on time rather than my socks (somehow I can’t justify failing a graduate level class for knitting socks – it was a very close call though and many a lip chewed over the decision).
So much fun. So sad that it’s over. My lap is freakin’ cold now
Miss ya!
Fantastic photos! It looks like you had a wonderful time!
You look gorgeous in glasses.
